Why Chipmaker MaxLinear is Victim of a 'Maze' ransomware attack? Lack of preventive measures.

For professional consultation on how to prevent the next ransomware attack's damages, please contact our cyber defense experts at info@digitalbank.capital or visit us at www.DigitalBankVault.com

Radio-frequency chip maker MaxLinear was hit by a cyberattack, with a hacker releasing some proprietary information about the company online.

The "Maze" ransomware attack affected some operational systems, the company said in a filing.

Ransomware is a type of malicious program used by hackers to take control of files in an infected system and then demand hefty payments to recover them.

According to cybersecurity firm McAfee, hackers who deploy Maze threaten to release information on the internet if the targeted companies fail to pay.

The DigitalBank Vault Solution is simple: just encrypt the entire data on your servers, with an unbreakable encryption system like the One Time Pad Encryption of DigitalBank Vault, so that the hackers threaten to release information on the internet if the targeted companies fail to pay, has nothing to actually public online!

Of course, you always need to make sure that all the encrypted data is also backed up offline, in case it needs to be restored. Contact us today at info@digitalbank.capital

CEOs from leading corporations worldwide are using the DigitalBank Vault Encryption System for securing ultra privacy over their communications (text, audio, and video messaging, emails) and confidential cloud file storage.
